I have installed both tar shingle and sheet roofs in the past, but the level of skill and workmanship you bring to a project is in a different league. Two things stood out. First was your attention to detail in each step of the work, with a strong emphasis on impeccable quality. Second, the technical skill, knowledge, and standards of work quality are stratospheric. Cuts were precise, things fit perfectly, and you took the time to work complex angles and corners accurately. As some examples of this, your work on the flashing for the second floor dormers was going the extra mile to do the job right-the original flashing work was substandard, and the enclosure you made for the woodstove stovepipe was one of the best custom solutions I have seen to sealing a penetration that is also a heat source/fire risk. The roof looks great, and it just shines with quality and craftsmanship. Your crew does very impressive work. We also wanted to thank you for taking the time to answer all Claudia’s questions, explain features of the roof, and work with her on the custom rain barrel collection system, which is ingenious.
